Marketing Coordinator

Summary:

Badger Mountain Winery is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to help lead our rebranding, grow our local business, and give our social media a boost. You’ll create and execute marketing projects that drive growth across our wholesale and DTC channels, bringing creativity, professionalism, and positivity to everything you do. You’ll take a hands-on creative role in rebranding our key products, shaping their look, feel, and story from concept to launch. Beyond that, you’ll serve as a key marketing partner to our sales team, providing materials and support they need to grow accounts and drive sales.

Marketing Responsibilities:

  • Communicate regularly with Sales team for all Sales marketing support needs (brochures, flyers, email blasts, presentation templates, shelf talkers, case sleeves, logo wear etc.).
  • Create all marketing material for wholesale and national sales team.
  • Create and manage a marketing calendar with schedule of events, promotions, social media posts, email campaigns, DTC communications, wine score submissions/publication, etc.
  • Generate meaningful and fruitful partnerships with local businesses and use these partnerships to create cross promotional opportunities.
  • Create and execute successful marketing plan that generates/supports sales for Wholesale & DTC channels.
  • Oversee the social media content for our brands that reflect their individual tone and characteristics (photo, video, email).
  • Collaborate with fellow employees to create social media content (obtain buy-in and participation).
  • Manage all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Tic Tok, Google Business, etc.) and ensure growth.
  • Communicate regularly with Sales and Production for any changes to bottling/release schedules that may impact the marketing calendar.
  • Attend necessary off-site events and assist team when needed. Be available to photograph and document brand moments as they happen, including early morning harvest and time sensitive events (seasonal and infrequent).

Direct-to-Consumer Responsibilities:

  • Manage websites for page updates, ensure information is current, and audit websites for any technical issues. Work closely with web developers for any advanced technical issues.
  • Plan bi-yearly Club release dates, event promotion, and related deadlines.
  • Work with production to plan DTC and Club inventory needs.
  • Software Integration and Support- Responsible for POS system integration, functionality, and training all staff with new updates.
  • Crosstrain office operations to act as backup to Customer Service Representative when they are out of office.

Qualifications:

  • Positive, Strong, & Energetic personality.
  • 2+ years of experience in sales and marketing.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively in a small team.
  • Ability to create, plan, and execute DTC & Wholesale marketing projects.
  • Marketing portfolio with examples of previous work.
  • Demonstrated experience with Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva or functional equivalents.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing projects.
  • Demonstrated exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent oral and written communication.
  • Highly proficient with MS Office suite Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.
  • Proficient with major social media platforms.
  • MAST certification or obtain within 30 days of hire

Highly Desired Skills:

  • Experience with rebranding and relaunching existing products.
  • Understanding of wine industry and distribution.
  • Basic understanding of large chain buying decisions and market support needs.
  • Experience with Mailchimp, Commerce 7, Cloud Campaign.
  • Advanced photo and video editing.
  • Experience with point of sale systems

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 40 pounds, move and package cases of wine.
  • Work in small office environment.
  • Work events inside and outside.
  • Speak and be heard clearly over the phone.

Pay Range: $26-$32 per hour
